Dr. Michael Civin

Throughout his extensive career as a practicing psychologist, Dr. Michael A. Civin, Ph.D., has not only showcased his profound academic qualifications but has also accumulated a wealth of invaluable professional experience that consistently informs his work. With over three decades dedicated to serving and aiding patients as a specialist in clinical psychology in the Bronx region of New York City, Dr. Civin has earned a distinguished reputation within the New York City psychological services community.

Dr. Civin’s journey commenced with a stellar education, commencing with his A.B. Degree earned with honors from Harvard University in 1968. Subsequently, he pursued further education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by the acquisition of his first Master of Arts degree from the University of Oregon in 1970. He achieved his second Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University in 1986, in addition to his Ph.D., which he also received from Adelphi.
